Sometimes I feel very guilty for not blogging every day or for not posting long, well thought out entries. So you can imagine how good I felt when I found this. It made me smile. :)
-grin- Yup, that 'button' has been around for awhile. Someone pointed me to Tartx some time ago, and I grabbed one. I use hardly any 'buttons,' on my blogs. But I did use that one, for a while.
Trouble is, I don't really have that issue. I don't get any guilt if I don't have anything to post. It's the guilt I get, for not reading/commenting in everyone's blog, who comments in my blogs. That's my "blog issue." -sigh-
But I'm trying, trying, trying to overcome it. 'Cause if I don't, blogging can be a _job_! And blogging is not supposed to be a job. It's supposed to be fun!!! ,-)
Oh, I know exactly what you mean. I was part of an add on to the story group for over 8 years, and felt very guilty if I didn't add something to the ongoing story every day. Sometimes 2-3 times a day since I wrote in a number of different characters. When that ended a year ago, I promised myself I wouldn't get involved in anything online that put so much pressure on me. What I say to myself and what I do are usually two different things though. lol
After much growling, cursing, and pulling my hair out I finally got my old PDA to sync up with my computer. I'm still not sure what I did to finally succeed so I hope I don't have to do this again. But I know that's too much to hope for because this isn't the first time the pda and the computer stopped syncing. And every time it's a pain in the arse trying to make things right again. Anyway, now I can download some stuff I want to read when I'm not in front of the computer. We're going to watch some anime later and then a movie we got from Netflix called Game Plan. It stars Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson. I like him. We would've watched "Crash" too, but the disc arrived cracked so I returned it right away. Today's pizza night too. Whoot! More from my sketchbook: I drew this rose at the end of January, referencing the book "Drawing for Dummies," by B. Hoddinott. I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend!
A funny tidbit from this morning's Chicago Sun Times: Every Woman's Struggle One day a housework-challenged husband decided to wash his sweatshirt. Seconds after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted to her, "What setting do I use on the washing machine?" "It depends," she replied. "What does it say on your shirt?" He yelled back, "University of Illinois."
