Daz Studio

Last night I download a 3-D graphic program similar to Poser from this link. Daz Studio It's "Tell-ware" which means I have to tell 2 people about it. So I'm starting off by mentioning it on my blog. I guess they make their money from the various 3-d models and other add ons you can buy for the program.

The program looks mighty intimidating since I've never worked with 3-D art before. It reminds me of the first time I opened paint shop pro and freaked because I had no idea what to do next. lol I keep telling myself to go slow, that I don't have to learn it all in one day. There are several tutorials to follow so I guess I'll start there and try to tackle a little every day or so to keep myself from getting overwhelmed.

I think I better get to work on coloring one of my drawings soon too so I don't forget how to do it. When you don't use something for a while you tend to forget the necessary steps...at least I do. At one time I used to zip through creating web pages with html but now I've forgotten a lot of the coding tags since I haven't played around with a web page in a LONG time. I was starting to get really good with css too until that sort of fell by the wayside. Now, whenever I look at my main web page that I did in css I find myself saying, "Wow, how the hell did I do that?" lol

Well, enough talking about this...I better get to working on something.

curse you!! *shakes fist* lol i was taking a look at that, and now my mouth is watering at the thought of making 3D art again, lol. i still have all my old pics of kyri i did, and a few i never posted online. oi vey...

Whoot! It's so cool that you're still interested in messing around with the 3d art. I remember those Kyri pics you put up and they looked HOT! You really started getting a handle on that poser program. I have a LONG way to go before I can catch up to you there. I opened Daz Studio twice so far and both times I freaked out. lol

No pain, no gain

Whoa, I forgot how hard exercising could be, especially when your body hasn't done much moving in a while. I just finished doing a 15 minute aerobic routine following Gilad on Fit TV. Then I lifted 5 pound hand weights, doing 2 sets of 8 reps for biceps, triceps, back, and chest. Whew. That doesn't really sound like a lot, but it's a lot for me right now. *wipes brow* I'm trying to establish a routine of doing some form of exercise every day for at least 20 minutes. So far, so good. Getting my body to move will be much easier when the weather warms up because I love to walk and plan on doing a lot of it this year. We watched "New Amsterdam," last night. I'm not sure what to say about it except that I thought it was so, so. I didn't think there was anything spectacular about it, but I plan on watching it again. On American Idol: I thought the worst performances were by Luke Menard and Danny Noriega. I'd kind of hate to see Danny go though because h
