A funny tidbit from this morning's Chicago Sun Times:

Every Woman's Struggle

One day a housework-challenged husband decided to wash his sweatshirt. Seconds after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted to her, "What setting do I use on the washing machine?"

"It depends," she replied. "What does it say on your shirt?"

He yelled back, "University of Illinois."

Congratulations on another day Quit!
We Quitters need to stick together for support and encouragement.
Tomorrow will be 6 months for me after 36 years of being a cigarette slave. There are still some rough patches but I'm still glad I'm Quit.

Dee: Aww, I miss you too when I don't see you update your blog in a while. *hugs* I'm going to try to pay more attention to blogging now, so wish me luck. lol

Mamaflo: Thanks for the congrats, and congrats back to you for being smoke free for 6 months! Whoot! That's quite an accomplishment. I still get a craving for a ciggie, especially after a meal, but so far I've been a good girl and managed to ignore those cravings. :D

I quit smoking five years ago (actually, I'm not sure if it's four or five) and I wouldn't start again now. Congratulations on quitting. It's not easy but it's worth it. It's just one more freedom that we win for ourselves.
